Editorial standards and method
How our rankings, comparisons and guides are made, and what you can rely on.
Researched or tested
Every piece of content carries a test status. “Researched” means: we evaluated manufacturer information, public descriptions and a market overview, but did not test the fragrance ourselves. Anything tested hands-on is labelled explicitly. We do not claim tests that did not take place.
Ranking method
Every ranking states its criteria. We sort by editorial assessment of scent profile, occasion and versatility, not by sales figures or paid placements. Classifications such as season, longevity and price range are editorial and not measured. We give prices only as a band (€ to €€€), never as a current price.
Sources and timeliness
Every page shows its last update date and test status. We list new releases only when the brand has confirmed them. We do not publish invented or rumour-based releases.
Conflicts of interest
We are independent. There is no shop and there are no paid placements. If we use affiliate links in future, we will label this clearly at the relevant place and it will not influence the order of the rankings.
Images
Product images serve orientation. Brand and product names belong to their respective rights holders. We do not imply any connection or partnership with the brands mentioned.
